Friday, Nov 18
1 pm Meeting in Irvine to get gas, everyone needs to meet at the same station and time (drivers will get reimbursed but need to front costs)
4-5 pm Arrival at the research center
6-8 pm prepare dinner
8-10 pm 3-minute talks and social hour

Saturday, Nov 19
9:30 pm Coffee and writing planning (Goals for writing)
10-12 pm Writing
12-2 pm Cook and have lunch
2-3 pm Writing / group discussion
3-6 pm hiking or games / free time at the center
6-9 pm cooking and having dinner
9 pm Stargazing / bonfire?

Sunday, Nov 20
9:30 pm Coffee and writing planning (Goals for writing)
10-12 pm Writing
12-2 pm Cook and have lunch
2-3 pm Wrap up / group discussion
3-5 pm free time at the center / get ready to leave
5-6 pm clean and prepare to leave (need to drop key by 6 pm latest)

Event capacity: 24 total people
You may sign up a +1, however priority is giving to postdocs.
Attendees must be 21+ years old.

What’s covered: 2 nights at research center dorms (6 beds per room), some of the gas for carpool, lunches and dinners. We will go food shopping in Irvine and cook at the center together (everyone is excepted to help with this). Everyone needs to help with cleaning at the end of the trip!!

Transportation: Carpooling with other attendees, please let us know if you are able to be a driver.
Carpooling location will be announced at a later date.

Bring your own: Blanket or sleeping bag, and pillows (the dorms come with matrasses only), other needs for an overnight stay, laptop etc for writing sessions, everyone is responsible for their own breakfast and snacks. Tap water at the center is drinkable, so bring a bottle for hikes, board- and outdoors games. Alcoholic drinks are allowed.

Center policy: No smoking, no pets, no firearms.
