Meet Dr. Guadalupe Diaz, a postdoc in the School of Education who works with A/Prof. Stephanie Reich. Guadalupeā€™s research is focused on understanding and improving the individual and ecological factors (e.g. parenting) that influence the school readiness and educational experiences of children and families from diverse backgrounds. Specifically, she is interested in addressing the inequalities in achievement and services received by children and families from ethnically-diverse backgrounds and children who are English Language Learners.

Guadalupe received her Ph.D. in Human Development Family Sciences at Oregon State University. She will be presenting her postdoc research at the Society for Research in Child Development in April.
